Bryan's Make and Take! The ITTY BITTY Brag BOOK

The Following Project came about because my Mom wanted something small she could carry that had a few pictures of her Grand Daughters....

You will Need:
1. Piece of Pattern Paper, the thin stuff works great (I used Scenic Route)
2. 4 shipping tags or homemade tags ( 4 1/4” by 2 1/8”)
3. Adhesive (tape runner)
4. Ruler and Bone Folder
5. Paper Trimmer.
6. Exacto Knife or a sharp pointed scissors

Also Embellishments
I used...Quckutz Tags, Ribbon, Scrap Cardstock and Pattern Paper and Gems. I used 7 photos.

Step one.
1. Cut the Pattern Paper Down to 8 inches by 12 inches (the extra can be used for embellishing

2. Score...

3. and

4. Cut from Point A to Point B along the score line.

5. It should look this

6. Now fold lengthwise along the cut/score line. Fold the 3, 6, 9 Folds....
and get it to to look like this;

7. Now fold it into a book....

Depending on how accurate you did your cutting, scoring, and folding, as well as depending on how thick your paper is you may need to trim up some of your pages to make them line up....Just remember not to trim any folds, because if you do then the book will fall apart. As well I left mine staggered, because I thought it added to the homemade appeal ( Kinda like I meant to do that)

Once you are happy with it, unfold it noting how you folded it,apply a thin line of adhesive to the following spots;

This will create the pockets for the tags

And carefully fold it back into the book, keeping in mind not to seal the adhesive until you are happy with the book, ***Note it is more important to match up the folds, not the corners***

Add your shipping tags into the open pockets...The 2 tags that fit into the side pockets will have to be trimmed to fit.

Embellish to your hearts content!

Here is the one I did;

and

This could also be added to a layout.

Oh, I LOVE that! That is brilliant! Hope I can fold it right.
Do all pictures have to be added to count?

This is sooooooo beautiful, Bryan! I just found my next Xmas mini book gift (yeah, I know, I'm early, but I can start planning, right? Of course I'll be last minute when Xmas 07 starts...).

I am complettly confused! Confused

I have this "thing" done right -- but I can't seem to figure out what/where to glue it "shut" -- sigh!

Basically you glue the bottom of the pages (to make the pockets for the tags)

If you want after you fold it, put the tags into the pockets( the will aternate from the top to the side of the book)

Hope that helps.
