Digital Scrapbooking Tutorials

Really good and cheap digital scrapbooking tutorials are quite difficult to find.

So I was overjoyed to discover that some places on the web now actually provide these for free.

I like to move with the times and although I've always been a kind of 'hands on' and practical person, I thought I ought to take the plunge and the next step in my scrapbooking life.

It really has given my art form a whole new lease of life and nieces & nephews, as they're growing up are becoming interested in what I do.

Before, I think they thought I was a little eccentric always cutting things out and being a slave to paper. Now, that their lives are becoming busier and they want to record more and more, it's me that they know they can rely on for a high tech scrapbook to save their memories in.

Now, believe me, I used to be the most computer phobic person I knew but I always loved scrapbooking. I think it was my passion for the craft that made me take the leap to take some digital scrapbooking tutorials. That and the fact that they were free. I've always been thrifty.

I'm so glad I have because when my digital scrapbooks are now finished I can even add music to give an even more personal touch & I can even package a scrapbook as a DVD for people as a present.

I still only do scrapbooks for friends & family at the moment- but I can also see the potential for going into business this way too. I've always thought that my work was professional looking, but somehow with it being on the computer it looks even more so now.

I'd even pay myself for one now!

One final word, if you were hesitant, like me that digital scrapbooking somehow made the whole craft impersonal. You couldn't be more wrong. Of course, there are basics to learn but it is still a very personal and individual finished project that you are creating.

It's just amore up to date way of scrapbooking, that's all.
