Piles of scraps?
If you are anything like me, you have piles and piles of scraps and offcuts. I just love patterned paper. Sometimes I have to force myself to actually use the pieces that I love so much. When I finally do cut into it, I save nearly every scrap that is left over. As a result, my “scrap pile” sometimes threatens to take over my scrapping space. I regularly dip into it but I never seem to get to the bottom of it. This week, however, I managed to use up a lot of my scraps and turn them into something cool that I’ll use again and again on my cards.

Into this:
I love to use flowers on my cards, so these ones will make a nice change from Prima’s or silk flowers. I grabbed heaps of different flower stamps and stamped directly onto the patterned paper and then hand cut them all out. I now have a stash of flowers that will find their way onto my cards at some stage.
Here’s a card I made using some of my recycled flowers:
*Tip: If you have pieces of one-sided patterned paper in your scrap pile, and you think you’ll never use them again, use the white side to stamp sentiments or images on!
