This month Pink Cat Studio is celebrating the arrival of a new baby at Pink Cat Studio!!! Melissa (owner) needs your help in choosing a name for this cutie patootie! This sweet little baby can be either a boy or a girl so we need to choose a name that would suit either one. So a nickname would work well. Hello and welcome back to our “Win-a-Day on the Hero Club Blog” week. I am very honored to introduce you to the fabulous Deborah Nolan…
I was so happy to pick Deborah. Her incredible talent, boundless creativity and fun personality made her an easy choice! Here’s more from her…
Q1: What is your favorite stamping technique? (Simple stamping, embossing, collage, etc.)
Deborah: Straight-up stamping, but I love to embellish with colored pencils and Gamsol.
Q2: What is your “go-to” color combination?
Deborah: This is hard for me. Probably my favorite is to use kraft, warm chocolate brown, and then robin egg’s blue/creamy pink/sea-green.
Q3: What are your favorite Hero Arts embellishments? (Gems, pearls, buttons, etc.)
Deborah: Definitely the pearls and gems.

Hello and welcome back to our week of Win-a-Day winners here on the blog. Today I am thrilled to introduce my pick, Kiara Lee! I chose Kiara because I am so inspired by her use of pattern and color, and all of the special little details that she includes on her cards. She is a talented artist and I’m so happy to have her on the blog today.
Let’s get to know Kiara a little better with a question and answer session.
Q1: What is your favorite stamping technique? (Simple stamping, embossing, collage, etc.)
Kiara: I love embossing, both the dry emboss and the heat emboss. Heat emboss gives the stamped image a crisp look and dry emboss created great textures.
Q2: What is More

Q1: What is your favorite stamping technique? (Simple stamping, embossing, collage, etc.)
Sarah: I’d have to say my favorite stamping technique would have to be heat embossing, especially with Versamark and white More

I colored Lily with my Copic Markers, cut the image out and remounted her on a SU Pink Pirouette textured card stock. I also added a bit of Stickles to the image.
I cut the scallops using my Fiskar Mini Scallop scissors and used the CB Embossing folder to created the inverted dot embossing on the blue band going across the card.

This image is so fun to color and it’s such a cute image.
